Bullseye Project
The Bullseye Project covers 59.5km2 (8.5km x 7km) within EL9089, located approximately 4.4km northeast of Tumbarumba, NSW. The project encompasses three key prospects: Buzz, Woody and Andy.
Key highlights
- Historical Significance: Hosts the Quartzville historical mining area, one of Tumbarumba’s earliest gold mining sites following gold discovery in 1855
- Limited Modern Exploration: Despite historical interest, the area has seen minimal exploration for epithermal and porphyry-style gold-copper systems, with no modern exploration drilling completed to date.
- LiDAR Interpretation: Analysis reveals extensive historical alluvial workings, including widespread sluicing leading to underground shafts.
- Surface Geochemistry: Company-led rock chip sampling has returned anomalous gold values from 0.1g/t Au to 41.6 g/t Au, and copper values from 0.01% Cu to 0.22% Cu, confirming strong gold-copper prospectivity. Surface mapping has also identified epithermal and porphyry-style alteration assemblages, including phyllic, propylitic, and argillic alteration.
- Geophysical Targets: A recent mMT geophysical survey has delineated 10 anomalies, many of which align with trends of historical workings, highlighting priority areas for follow-up.
